Hehe. Can’t understand you well. And I don’t know if my speaker has the problem or your video — the sound is some what soft.

Good work on the first vid buddy! Only thing I didn’t like is you forgot to give me a shout for bloggers doing videos on a weekly basis…jk :)

Keep them going mate, they’ll get better every time!

Congrats on BCB + Technorati + 45n5 + rss subscribers achievements.

No really, this is cool, just had to try to be funny. It is tough to get in front of people but you did fine. We expect to see you rivaling Gary Vaynurchuk real soon now.

Alright Danny Boy, you got the first one behind you. Now you can officially start taking over the video blogging world. You made it seem like it was going to be terrible. As Ben said, each video you do from here on out is only going to get better. Be confident in your skills and and abilities….you do have them, that is obvious. Just share them with the world. 95% of people want to see you succeed and will help you to that end.

Congrats on the major success. You definitely put in the hard work needed to make those things happen with developing the blog, but also developing your skills and knowledge base. Keep moving in those directions and you will go far.

Thanks for the shout out in the video. You da man!

Finally, get a new marker because everything on the white board is hard to see. LOL, you know I am going to give you a little grief, right?

I haven’t even quit my day job yet!

I saw Gary for the first time this week and his videos are really rocking, one day I may be up to that level too. There is still time!

10 Danny Cooper November 17, 2008 at 6:43 pm

Thanks Freddie for the support, you’ve really helped get this first video out into the wild. You’re definitely right about the amount of support available in the blogosphere.

Freddie, I’d be disappointed if you didn’t give me some grief. Thanks!

11 Freddie November 17, 2008 at 6:48 pm

LOL! It is all in good spirits, Danny Boy! I know you are not going to let me down by not giving me grief, so I had to return the favor. It is only right.

And yes, you got to love the Blogosphere!

Good job on your first video. I have ben trying to do one myself but I’m thinking I need to take my glasses off because I get too much glare from my 2 monitors.

I’m sure in the not so distant future you blog will even be more awesome than its already is. Keep pounding out the posts there Danny.

I’ve always wanted to try video blogging but I do most of it while I should be working on other stuff so I think people would really start to wonder if I was recording stuff at my desk at the office.

Anyway… great post.

Hey, good job, looking forward to seeing your confidence grow on camera a bit more – at the end of the day you can edit it how you want, so don’t worry about what you say and you can take the best bits :)

I do want to do video blogging but the problem is I am poor in public speaking or in front of the camera.:(

Dude, you can work on that and the best way to do it is by video blogging. You can try again as many time as you want and your confidence will grow over time.

I still haven’t figured out what my niche is. The closest category is religion/spirituality, but that is only a wee bit of what I blog about.

Dude, i so need that panic button you know “for mispellings”. LoL. Nice video, Danny. I didn’t know you were from across the pond. But i don’t think its possible for someone with as lovely an accent as you, to do a BAD video. Not possible.

Congrats on the stats. And look forward to more videos.

Fantastic Job Danny!

It takes a lot to put yourself out there in video form. I’ve done a few myself, but it is tough shit dude.

It’s also rad to see how much your blog has grown in such short time. When I first came to your blog I wanted to slap you around for how awesome it was…now I just content to read and following your journey, without all the slapping.

That’s not a “proper” english accent. You should hear me :P I speak far more like the Queen or some of the James Bonds.

Great job Danny! I have never done video blogging before, but when I get time I would like to have a go at it.

I think the first one is going to be very difficult for me as I am sure it was for you, but they will become a lot easier once your comfidence grows.

BTW You should customise the effects, titles, and colors a little more because everyone can tell you made it in Windows Movie Maker. Maybe make introduction and ending clips with some animations, your logo thing, and some sound.

Good Luck!
