Link Building: The Power of the Trackback

by donny on October 18, 2009

I wrote a guest post on Thoushalblog.com about why blogging is the undisputed culture.  Many people fail to realize how diverse the blogging world really is.  You have all kinds of people from all over the world from different cultures, races, and sexes.  You are not judged by the color of your skin, but by the content that you blog about.

David Risely explains whether a blog can be useful for marketing an offline business.  This post demonstrates how you can use your blog to build a better brand for your company and will also help you gain more loyal customers for your business.

Sean Percival talks through ways online publishing will change in 2009, including his strategy for blog networks.  He explains how far blogging has come and how far it will grow in 2009.

Not just a top ten list, but a great overview you can take to upper management to explain where social media is headed.  Ravit over at readwriteweb, explains what forms and sources will change social media in 2009.  If you probably already know, Twitter is apart of this social media change.

The Blog Bloke wrote about 10 blogging lessons that he had to learn the hard way.  You don’t want to make some of these same mistakes as a blogger because you will cost yourself a lot of wasted time and aggregation.

Well that is all for this edition of Post Office Sundays.  Come back next week to see if your post made the list.

Right!

People should be spend more time with their content and not much with how their site looks. I understand that sites should also look good but don’t overdo it, what’s important is that it’s user-friendly. A lot of famous blogs are simple but the contents are great.

For me, both content and user interface is important. I personally don’t visit sites that I’m having a hard time to read their content or having a hard time how to browse over their sites.

I agree that people should pay attention on content as it is a good way for any blog if you want to make your blog popular and one thing is very important that it should be unique for attracting visitors.

@ Bryan, Content, links and designs are all important in the ways, non should e left for the other.
Yes a website with great unique content can and will survive longer than an extravagantly designed one but design will capture your visitor’s immediate attention.

It is always a wrong impression to blog for your own sake, I don’t agree with the idea that some people out there only blog just to earn money and not thinking about helping people.

When you blog, you should think for your readers and visitors. I don’t know if this is right but you don’t have to write for the search engines, you have to write for the people, because when people like your blog, everything else follows (like backlinks, SEO, etc.).
