Link Building for Beginners – Free eBook
The site is pretty much perfected now(in my eyes anyway) everything is slotting right into place, the themes are ready, the tools are ready, now all that’s left is to add more content and build some links! Anyway I’ll talk more about than in another post, the point of this one is to tell you about a short concise eBook I’ve put together as a gift to my email subscribers.

Around one year ago I decided I was going to really give this ‘creating websites’ thing a real try. Since then I have been constantly reading, searching and putting the techniques I learn into practice to create profitable websites, and to be honest its worked quite well, for example I’ve managed to get you to read all this, and we haven’t even met! Another plus side to my strive for knowledge is that I have landed a job as ‘web developer’ where I get to put my skills to the test day in, day out.
One of the main problems I had when I was searching for information on the world wide web was that there weren’t too many in-depth resources available for free, sure there are masses of great information spread across millions of pages, but it is hard to find a definitive resource, unless of course you have lots of money to spend on expensive e-books and learning courses, which to be blunt, I didn’t have.
I also found that once you have the foundation knowledge on a subject, especially link building, you can discover the rest on your own. This theorem led me to create my first e-book “Link Building for Beginners” and here’s the best part, its free! So if you, like I once was, can’t afford the fancy training courses then this is definitely for you!

Now you’ve been updated with my personal history lesson lets focus on the book! The book itself highlights all the knowledge you will need to kick-start your successful link building campaign, it does not contain advanced link building techniques, but it does teach you the underlying basics needed when employing advanced link building techniques.

Before we build links we must understand why. The first chapter explains the reasons behind building links, in an attempt to educate you about the power behind quality links.
“Link Characteristics”
Now we understand the reason we build links, we need to look into the characteristics of links, this chapter explains the difference between dofollow and no follow, and how this affects us.
“The Value of Links”
As you may or may not know, each link holds a different value, in chapter 3 we look at what affects this value so hopefully we can find the high value links.
“How to Find out if a Link is Nofollow”
Knowing whether spiders will or will not follow a link is a vital piece of information to all link builders, in this chapter I show you how to find out..
“Internal Linking”
Once we have understood the value of links its time to look at some linking techniques, what’s a better place to start from than home? In this chapter we start to have some fun with our internal linking structure.
“Negative Factors When Building Links”
In this chapter we review the negative factors that can decrease a links value.
“Inbound Links”
In this chapter I am going to show you the criterion I use when assessing a link building opportunity.
“External Linking”
The argument of whether linking from your page to relevant pages will, or will not increase your pages credibility in search engines eyes will continue until conclusive evidence is formed. In this chapter we go through the possible reasoning so you can create your own opinion.
“Where Shall We Start? Directories I suppose!”
When starting out on your link building journey its best to start with link building methods which are quite easy to perform, directory submissions are a great example of this.
“Build Links by Writing for Others?!”
Sometimes it can be extremely hard to obtain links on relevant web pages, this is partly due to people not wanting to share there prized PageRank with you, in this chapter we talk about writing for websites in return for backlinks.
“How to Blog Comment like a Pro”
Finding dofollow blogs and commenting simply for a backlink may work, but unless done properly chances are it won’t, in this chapter I show you how to do it the correct way.
“Important Information when Blog Commenting”
Within the blogosphere there is a set of unwritten rules for blog commenting, I reveal them to you in this chapter.
